Sacrocurse – Sulphur Blessing (Iron Bonehead Productions)

New (demonic) entity disguises a Satanic veteran invasion.
Release Date:
25 Jul 2013 - 12:30pm

Judging by the friends I have worldwide, I found it strange that a band that was ABOUT to release a tape through a German label, was receiving kudos even before the proper release. I thought, how could a new band be able to do that? They must have lots of friends…

Investigating,  I found I was not totally wrong in my suspicions. Word is that Sacrocurse is commanded by  Zolrak Montes, who has played with no less than Morbosidad and Obeisance and now it’s the guy behind Nodens. So, new to the scene is only the Sacrocurse moniker.

Having solved this riddle, now to go to the putrid and mortal death/black metal sound of this pro-tape.

It’s 4 tracks clocking at 14 minutes of pure death metal insanity. No compromise and no place to hide, as the floggings of senseless destruction keep castigating even the most experienced of headbangers, the maximum example being the ultra noxious track C.O.N.V.U.L.S.E. It’s whiplash over whiplash, relentless and unyielding.

Satanic and cruel, this tape is one of those great surprises and if you don’t get it (and I was told the release is limited to 300 copies ONLY) you are a poser and need to hang yourself.

Sulphur Blessing  is out now on Iron Bonehead Productions.
