Gravemind Release New Single & Lyric Video For "The Death Of Teyolia"

Tour Dates Enclosed....

Melbourne's Deathcore 6-piece Gravemind are today announcing the release of their brand new single "The Death of Teyolia" - a caustic, ripping track that tells the story of Teyolia, an Aztec woman torn from the arms of her lover by enemy tribesmen. Gravemind have created a lyric video for the track which tells the crux of the story from their lyrics and the accompanying visuals. The story will be fleshed out even further, when the band release the digital comic book - that they created along with some incredible friends - that goes alongside this song closer to the single's release date.

The band will also then hit the road in October with fellow Deathcore friends, I Shall Devour and To The Grave.

The single, comic book and lyric video are part of how the band aims to tell their stories through their music with more depth. Dylan Gillies-Parsons from the band wrote the comic book, Ren Tu was the colourist and the book was inked by Shen Lim. The lyric video was done by Scott Rudd, adapting the images from the comic into an amazing pastiche of the thematic content of the song.

Gravemind have spent the past 8 months playing mind-blowing shows up and down the east coast of Australia with bands such as King Parrot, A Night in Texas, Initiate Jericho and Justice for the Damned. In late 2015 saw the band release their EP 'The Hateful One' - which featured guest vocals on tracks from both CJ McMahon (ex-Thy Art is Murder) and Mark Poida (Averson's Crown).

This new track is the first taste of new material from Gravemind and shows a new maturity and considered new direction in terms of their lyrics and approach to storytelling with their tracks. The Death of Teyolia by Gravemind will be released on Friday September 30th in iTunes, Spotify and Bandcamp and the accompanying Comic Book will be released very soon - made available for free to fans and anyone interested in the band.
