Rose Tattoo's guitarist Dai Pritchard releases debut album

If you like your hard rock with a touch of blues n boogie then you could do worse than checking out the new release Killin' Time by the Dai Pritchard Band

On the back of what has been a big year for the Dai Pritchard Band they are set to kick it up a notch with the release of their long awaited Debut Album Killin Time. Recorded and co-produced with Mark Tinson at Impromptu Studios in Newcastle NSW. This album has a collection of some of the most requested original songs from the bands extensive original catalogue featuring Jon Fox on Drums, Dave Clews on Bass and Ammiel Warner on keys.

Killin’ Time is a blues & rock soaked beast with a killer boogie swagger that showcases all his influences and experiences and highlighted Pritchard’s signature sound, backed by a super talented band that matches Dai’s sound and proficiency with ease.
Dai Pritchard is best known for his incredible slide and exceptional guitar skills, having worked for 8 years in the Billy Thorpe Band before receiving a personal request by the late Pete Wells of Rose Tattoo to continue the story by taking his place as a full time member of the iconic Australian Rock band in 2004. With numerous European tours and legendary festivals such as Wacken (Germany) & Donington (England) under his belt Dai continues to raise the bar.

Invited to perform by Slash on the Australian leg of his World Tour, punters were treated to Dai in a guitar duel on stage with the legendary guitarist at Hisense Arena, Melbourne in 2012. This was about Slash paying tribute to one of his favourtie Aussie bands, Rose Tattoo, and his personal admiration of Dai’s incredible style.

The first single release Big Man Movin is available as a free download for all fans from the bands website The album will be released on 11 September 2014.
