Gorguts vocalist/guitarist Luc Lemay comments: "It is with great joy that we eagerly await to get to Europe to meet each of you to share the music of Colored Sands", relates the frontman. "When we toured Europe in the summer of 2012 it was the band’s second European tour in 19 years! So we need to catch up with you Metalheads! When we were told that the tour would happen with our label mates Misery Index, I couldn’t be happier!! I remember hearing Traitors for the first time, and I was a fan right away!! I cannot wait to share the stage with them. This will be great!!"

Jason Netherton adds: "We are really looking forward to hitting Europe with our label-mates and brothers Gorguts for these shows and festivals", enthuses the Misery Index mastermind. "Nothing but good times await! Also we expect this tour will come close to the release of our new album, which makes it perfect timing. See you all in spring 2014!"

Gorguts, long-running Canadian craftsmen of technical death are touring in support of their acclaimed comeback album Colored Sands, which was released after a decade of silence in August 2013.

American death metal extremists Misery Index will tour in advance of the release of their freshly announced fifth full-length The Killing Gods, which will see its release on May 23rd. The album will soon be made available for pre-order on the Season of Mist e-shop.

Jason Netherton issued the following statement: "After an extended writing and recording process we have finally completed The Killing Gods", comments the frontman. "It is the longest, most diverse and most complete album we have ever created, and it represents the blood, sweat and beers of four dudes trying to make the best songs they can. We think we have succeeded and we hope you do as well. Look for this metal beast to drop in May!"

The Killing Gods was recorded in the USA at Wright Way Studios in Baltimore, Maryland and engineered by Steve Carr (Dying Fetus, Slipknot, Soilwork). The drum parts were tracked with Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Black Tusk, Brutal Truth) at Visceral Sound in Bethesda, Maryland.
