Shaping up as the best Whiplash Ever!

Deadsets Promotions have announced the first batch of artists for Whiplash 2012!

Headlining this year; Denmark's very own mind bending, sonic altering, genre bending and soul destroying export, Mnemic.
Previously named as one of Metallica's favourite bands and having previously been described as a fusion between metalcore, melodic death metal, industrial metal, progressive metal with hinted elements of thrash and groove metal – Mnemic form a style all on their own that only the band themselves can describe as “Future fusion metal.” Having hit the Top 100 Charts with the worldly infamous album The Audio Injected Soul and played with some of the biggest names in music such as : Metallica, Deftones, Machine Head, Meshuggah, Arch Enemy, All That Remains, Fear Factory, The Haunted, Soilwork and God Forbid.

Joining Mnemic on the stage this year will be Brazil's very own underground blackened death metal devils Unearthly. Their appearance on Whiplash will come fresh after their upcoming tour to Eastern Europe namely Russia, Slovakia, Moldova and Romania as well as quick stopover to India's very own Metal Mayhem:Open Air and South East Asian tour.

This year, Unearthly have played alongside some of the world's most renowned metal acts including: Decapitated, Hate, Aborted, and many more.

Like a drug in your veins – Dawn Heist will infect you with their melodic brand of electronic groove metal.

Following Dawn Heist to every show will be a roster of Australia's very best metal acts.
